Want to know a super quick dessert that will have your guests loving you and your super-genius-dessert-making-ways?
Of course you do.
This dessert pizza starts with Pillsbury pizza dough but, of course, you can whip up your favorite pizza dough if you prefer. From start to finish this took me about 45 minutes. For realz! It's uber fast.
And soooo good.
I mean...apples + pecan crumble + pizza + salted caramel sauce.
Hellloooooooo! It doesn't get much more delicious than that.
Salted Caramel Apple Crumble Pizza
Ingredients
Crust
Middle Layer
3 apples, peeled and sliced thinly
Topping
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup butter, cubed
Drizzle
1/3 cup Salted Caramel Sauce
(Use store bought or our easy recipe HERE)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, spray with cooking spray.
Open the Pillsbury pizza dough and press it out into the prepared pan as best you can. (You may not fill the entire cookie sheet and that's okay.)
Place the thinly sliced apples in rows on top of the dough.
In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar flour, oats, cinnamon, and pecans until well mixed. Using your fingers crumble in the cubes of butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Evenly sprinkle the crumbs over the top of the apples.
Bake at 350 for approx 30 minutes, until crust and topping are browned.
Remove and drizzle with the salted caramel sauce. Cut into sticks. Best served warm.
How easy is that, right?
I love it with the salted caramel sauce. It is also really tasty with a cream cheese drizzle too.
When this is warm you will not be able to stop eating it. Room temp and chilled are okay but..seriously....reheat the leftovers in the microwave for a few seconds if you want the full experience.
That is....if you have any leftovers to reheat....
