In case you haven't noticed, I have a new favorite thing this month.
Milkshakes.
Skinny milkshakes to be exact.
I started with a Skinny Mounds Cheesecake Shake, then went on to a Skinny Caramel Macchiato Shake, and now - Skinny Banana Cream Pie Shake.
Milkshakes are awesome.
All that decadent, creamy goodness that, believe it or not, can actually be a little bit healthy.
Take this shake for example: only 252 calories, 40 carbs, 3 fat, and 15 protein. (According to Myfitnesspal) That includes the toppings too!
3 fat!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
I'm also a fan of the 250 calories. That's for the entire amount. It's a lot. Like.... a lot a lot.
Skinny Banana Cream Pie Shake
Ingredients
1/2 cup 0 fat Greek yogurt, plain
1 banana
1/4 cup 1% milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp graham cracker crumbs
ice cubes
Topping
1 Tbsp Light Cool Whip
1 tsp graham cracker crumbs
Directions
Start by placing your Greek yogurt and banana in the freezer to freeze solid. Once they are frozen you are ready to make your shake!
Place frozen yogurt, banana, milk, vanilla, and 2 tsp graham crackers crumbs into a blender. Process until smooth. (Add a bit more milk or water if it is too thick.) Throw in a handful or two of ice cubes and process until smooth. (The ice cubes are optional - I just like the texture I get by adding some ice to my shake)
Pour into a tall glass and top with Cool Whip and remaining 1 tsp of graham cracker crumbs. Garnish with an extra slice of banana, if desired.
Serve immediately.
Soooooo much deliciousness......
And it just looks so pretty......
You know you want one.
Freeze your ingredients now and then when you are ready to have one it will take you 5 minutes or less to prepare it. That's it! 5 minutes and you could be drowning in banana cream pie goodness.
What are you waiting for?
That certainly looks delicious and refreshing. Blessings, Catherine
