Bacon Cheese Bombs


Sometimes when you want bacon you want it NOW.
Well, you're in luck. With these bad boys you can have all the bacon-y (and cheesy) goodness you desire in about 20 minutes.
Use your favorite cheese - or do what we did and use a couple of favorites. 
Just don't forget the bacon.
(Like you could, right?)
Some big crispy bits and some teeny tiny crunchy bits. The more the better, we say. 
These are perfect for game night, kids sleepover, appy before a family get-together, after school snack, lunch time, blah-de-blah-blah-blah. The list goes on forever. 
They are pretty much perfect for any time.


Bacon Cheese Bombs

Ingredients
1 can Pillsbury Country Biscuits
10 slices bacon, cooked and broken into bits
10 cubes Swiss cheese
10 Tbsp shredded Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Mozza Cheese
1/2 cup finely diced bacon bits


Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
Pop open the Pillsbury Biscuits and separate them.
Take one biscuit and flatten it in the palm of your hand. Top with a piece of cooked bacon, broken into bits. Place a cube of Swiss on top and a Tbsp of the shredded Mozza.


Fold the dough up and over the cheese/bacon and press the edges firmly together. Gently roll the dough in the palm of your hand to form a ball. Place on the prepared cookie sheet.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Pour bacon bits into a shallow bowl. Roll each ball in the bacon bits, pressing the bacon bits in fairly firmly. Place back on cookie sheet.


Bake at 375 until dough is golden brown, about 15 minutes or so. Don't panic if you have little cheese blowouts. Let them cool for a few minutes and then simply spread the cheese that leaked out onto the bottom of the bun - it will stick, you won't see it, and it will taste delicious. (Or just pick it off the cookie sheet and eat it. We won't tell.)


Serve warm or room temp.


They are ooey gooey when warm. 
Sooooooooooo ooooooooooooey goooooooooooooey.
And ready in about 2 seconds. Okay, it may take you a little more time if you also have to cook the bacon.
Our favorite way to cook bacon, by the way, is to line a cookie sheet with tinfoil, spread the bacon in a single layer on the foil, and bake in the oven at 375 for about 10 - 15 minutes, flip it over, and then cook another 10 mins or so (Keep an eye on it!). Easy peasy and turns out great every time. 
Getting bacon into your system has never been easier.
