Skinny Apple Pie Milkshake

Want to know how hot it was here yesterday?
42 degrees.
42 stinking degrees.
For those of you using Fahrenheit...that's like 107 degrees.
In the shade.
Oh, yeah, did I mention we don't have air conditioning?
Because we don't have air conditioning.
So...anyway....I'm pretty sure I'm slowly cooking to death and the only way to prevent me from exploding is consuming frozen things.
It's okay though. I have so many skinny milkshake flavors to try I should be okay.
Take this Apple Pie ridiculousness.
Only 218 calories, 42 carbs, 1 fat, and 14 protein (according to Myfitnesspal).
I may just fill a kiddie pool with it and climb in.

Skinny Apple Pie Milkshake

Ingredients
Applesauce
4 large apples, peeled & seeded
1 Tbsp lemon juice
8 pkgs of Stevia
heaping 1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch nutmeg

Shake
1/2 of Applesauce (recipe above) (approx. 1/2 cup)
1/2 cup 0 fat, plain Greek yogurt, frozen
1/3 cup 1% milk
1 Tbsp graham cracker crumbs
ice cubes
2 Tbsp Cool Whip 95% fat free

Directions
Prepare Applesauce - Chop apples into small cubes.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, place the chopped apples, lemon juice, Stevia, cinnamon and nutmeg. (Use more or less sweetener to suit your preferences!) Cook and stir until mixture is bubbly. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let cook 5 minutes - stir once, at the halfway mark.
Remove from heat and mash apples to desired consistency. (I leave mine a little bit chunky)

Let cool completely. Divide in half and freeze. (You only need half of the applesauce to make the milkshake. You can eat the other half or freeze it for a future use.)
Prepare milkshake - Place frozen applesauce, frozen yogurt, milk, all but about 1/2 tsp of the graham cracker crumbs, and a handful of ice cubes into a blender. Process until smooth, scraping down sides as necessary. (Add more milk or more ice cubes to reach desired consistency)
Serve topped with Cool Whip and remaining graham cracker crumbs.

So thick and creamy and apple pie-y.
Almost makes the heat bearable.

Almost.
